Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; high school diploma with equivalent experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
• Three years of experience in the occupational field to understand major duties.
• Preferred experience in real estate, survey, title work, drafting, property law, engineering, public administration, GIS, or land development.

Responsibilities

• Conducts research and responds to inquiries within the scope of responsibility, including assisting in processing invoices/refunds.
• Receives and reviews correspondence, plats, resolutions, minutes, and other documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Reviews and approves proposed subdivision and road names.
• Enters platting cases and updates to an electronic database.
• Prepares correspondence, memoranda, public notices, subdivision agreements, and other documents.
• Manages road name change process and platting records; coordinates waiver and funds release processes.
• Tracks plat statistics and maintains platting seals and attestations; drives to Anchorage for recordation as needed.
