Job summary

Leidos in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Test Engineer to join a Manufacturing-focused team. You will develop acceptance and qualification test procedures for electronic and mechanical components, verify documentation, and analyze data to drive manufacturing quality.

You’ll work a diverse team in a dynamic environment supporting avionics-like testing. Qualifications include a related BS degree with 2–4 years of experience, ability to read drawings and schematics, and US citizenship with the ability

Qualifications

• BS degree in mechanical, aerospace, or electrical engineering with 2-4 years of experience.
• Ability to work independently or in a team within a focused technical environment.
• Basic skills using hand tools, electrical troubleshooting (DMM), and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and execute test plans for development, qualification, and acceptance.
• Complete verification and validation documentation and reports.
• Perform test data analysis and generate reports.
• Brief internal and external parties on test results.
• Debug software and/or hardware with various tools.
• Manufacturing environment focus with possible outdoor work in all weather.
• Write reports and update records as assigned by supervision.
• Set up test equipment and conduct functional testing of hardware and software.
