Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Sector / Manufacturing is seeking a Test Engineer for our Platform Integration Facility in Huntsville, AL. You will develop and execute test plans for development, qualification, and acceptance phases of manufacturing projects, and document results for internal and external teams.

This role requires a BS degree in mechanical, aerospace, or electrical engineering with 2–4 years of experience, familiarity with hand tools, electrical troubleshooting, and reading

Qualifications

• BS degree in mechanical, aerospace, or electrical engineering with 2–4 years of experience.
• Candidate must demonstrate relevant skills in one or more focus areas, have good interpersonal skills, and be able to work in a highly focused technical team.
• Candidate must possess basic skills using hand tools, electrical troubleshooting (DMM), and MS Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Advanced experience reading mechanical assembly drawings and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and execute test plans for manufacturing projects.
• Complete requirements verification and validation documentation and reports.
• Perform test data analysis and generate test reports.
• Brief internal and external parties on test results and data.
• Debug software and/or hardware with various tools.
• Work primarily in a manufacturing environment; may be outside in all weather.
• Write reports and update records; support supervisor tasks.
• Set up test equipment, perform functional testing, and establish test environments.
