Job summary

Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Platform Solutions Architect to join our IT team in Boone, NC (onsite). You will design, deploy, and manage enterprise platform infrastructure, leading Platform Engineers while ensuring reliability, security, and scalability to support ministry operations.

Responsibilities include monitoring performance, collaborating with Cyber Security, and developing disaster recovery capabilities. A TOGAF/ISO 27001 mindset and 12 Biblical Studies credits are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field with 10+ years in DevOps or IT.
• Experience designing and supporting cloud-native infrastructure (Linux, storage, virtualization, networking).
• Knowledge of TOGAF and ISO 27001 security principles for scalable platforms.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with multiple priorities.
• 12 credit hours of Biblical Studies required (or ability to complete after hire).

Responsibilities

• Lead design, delivery, deployment, and management of enterprise platform infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership to Platform Engineers and ensure reliability and scalability.
• Plan and optimize platform performance and availability to support ministry ops.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security to implement security controls.
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities.
