Everforth Apex Systems seeks a DevOps Solutions Architect to design and govern enterprise DevEx services, platforms, and tooling. You will lead solution design, collaborate with delivery teams, and drive architectural standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role is based onsite in Charlotte, NC, with a focus on ownership, debt reduction, and mentorship of engineers. Ideal candidates have breadth across Linux/Windows, Java/.NET, cloud, security, and hands-on PoCs.

Qualifications

• Broad experience designing solutions across varied software platforms and environments.
• Experience with DevOps automation and enablement technologies.
• Ability to evaluate vendor and in-house solutions against standards.

Responsibilities

• Create technical designs for architecturally significant DevEx changes.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to implement according to design and standards.
• Evaluate solutions against architecture requirements and security considerations.
• Manage architecture runway and technical debt with stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance to developers and engineers.
• Perform hands-on proof-of-concept work to assess impact of tech choices.
