Job summary

Johnsonville, LLC. is seeking an IT Platform Solutions Engineer to configure and maintain our IT platforms and systems.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, implement, and optimize IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and scalable performance across environments. The role requires 5+ years in platform solutions, experience with cloud providers (AWS/Azure), and strong scripting/automation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years configuring, troubleshooting, deploying platform solutions
• 3+ years supporting vendor platform technologies (SAP, Jitterbit, o9)
• Experience with AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and maintain IT platforms with cross‑functional teams
• Optimize hardware and software configurations for performance
• Define and improve observability tools and health checks
• Monitor platform performance; troubleshoot bottlenecks
• Collaborate with security teams on secure‑by‑design practices
• Identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks
• Automate provisioning, configuration, remediation, and tasks
• Maintain configuration management and desired‑state tooling
• Create documentation for configurations and processes
• Respond to platform issues; work with support and vendors
• Participate in on‑call rotation (7x24)
