Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking an IT Services Senior Manager to lead enterprise IT operations across infrastructure, cloud, and security. You will direct IT staff, align services with business needs, and drive continual service improvements while managing budgets and strategic roadmaps.

The role requires a DoD 8140-compliant security posture, Security+ or higher, and 7–10 years in IT with 5+ years in leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 7-10 years of experience in Information Technology.
• 5+ years of experience managing IT staff.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial and open-source computer, network, telecom, hosted, and cloud hardware, software, and service offerings.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a matrixed workforce and drive collaboration across teams to meet department or contract objectives.
• Proven ability to identify, diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex technical and operational issues and implement corrective strategies.
• Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess alternatives and determine effective courses of action.
• Ability to think long-term, establish achievable action plans, and apply new technology knowledge to improve services and outcomes.
• Candidates must have a current security clearance and meet DoD 8140 compliance standard (minimum of Security+ cert)

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct IT-related activities across infrastructure, applications, networks, cloud services, virtualization, databases, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, security, and compliance.
• Ensure continuity of computer, network, and application services through leadership and oversight.
• Align IT services with business processes and customer requirements.
• Perform technical analysis, estimation, design review, and compliance evaluation.
• Forecast costs and prepare budgets for IT projects and operations.
• Recommend and implement hardware and software upgrades for IT assets.
• Design and coordinate policies, procedures, and standards to strengthen service delivery.
• Audit systems, ensure data security, and maintain backup readiness.
• Identify operational issues and implement strategic solutions to improve efficiency.
• Oversee feasibility studies and monitor implementation success.
