Job summary

Humana is seeking a Lead UI/UX Full Stack Engineer focused on Platform Quality and Reliability. This hands-on role drives production readiness, scalability, and observability across the NBA platform, not just feature work.

You will lead a pod, own testing infrastructure, and ensure smooth handoffs from delivery to production. You will work with Java, Python, Node.js, and TypeScript in a polyglot stack, while mentoring contractors and coordinating across pods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field required.
• 5+ years of full stack software engineering with ~1–2 years on platform reliability or site reliability.
• Hands-on experience building/testing infrastructure (unit/integration/load/end-to-end).
• Strong observability practices: logging, tracing, metrics, alerting.

Responsibilities

• Own platform reliability, uptime, performance, and resilience across NBA platform services.
• Actively write and ship production code alongside your team; not supervisory only.
• Build and maintain automated testing infrastructure and standards across tests.
• Own logging, monitoring, and alerting; provide visibility into production behavior.
