Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
• Proficient in reading, debugging, and extending code in Java, Node.js/TypeScript, Python, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, event-driven patterns, and failure handling.
• Experience with observability practices: logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.

Responsibilities

• Cross-Stack Maintenance across the full platform, maintaining knowledge of components and interfaces.
• Reliability Engineering: monitor health, investigate issues, and resolve bottlenecks and scaling constraints.
• Design and ship focused features, enhancements, and improvements across platform components.
• Extend logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting for clear production visibility.
• Profile and tune components under load to support growing data throughput.
• Write tests, participate in code reviews, and uphold engineering standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation and root-cause analysis to prevent incidents.
• Collaborate with delivery pods and Decision Intelligence for long-term ownership.
