Job summary

Patreon is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Infrastructure team, accountable for keeping Patreon’s engineering org fast and reliable. You’ll own the roadmap and execution across the platform, balancing reliability with investments to make every engineer faster.

You will manage and grow ICs, overseeing hiring, performance, and career development, while driving operational excellence, including observability, on-call, incident response, SLAs/SLOs, and PRR.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years in engineering management.
• Experience leading infrastructure or developer-productivity teams at scale.
• Direct experience with AI-assisted software development and AI tooling adoption.

Responsibilities

• Lead Patreon’s Infrastructure team and own the roadmap and execution across the platform.
• Manage and grow ICs; own hiring, performance, and career development for your org.
• Own operational excellence: observability standards, on-call structure, incident response, SLAs/SLOs, and PRR.
• Partner with Product Engineering, Security, and Data leaders to avoid bottlenecks for product delivery.
