Pinterest is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Delivery Serving Infrastructure organization, overseeing framework foundations, developer experience, and core vertical infrastructure. You will drive reliability, performance, and efficiency while guiding architectural changes and shared APIs across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software/infra teams.
• Deep knowledge of large-scale serving frameworks and low-latency execution.
• Proven ability to lead DevX initiatives, agentic infra tools, and incident workflows.
• Ability to move orgs from reactive maintenance to proactive resilience with testing, observability, and regression suites.
• Strong judgment balancing reliability, latency, scalability, product quality, velocity, and efficiency.
• Experience with search, ads delivery, ranking, experimentation, or high-scale content delivery systems.
• Proven use of AI to speed up engineering work with careful validation and accountability.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Delivery Serving Infrastructure organization across framework foundations, developer experience, and core vertical teams.
• Oversee infrastructure modernization initiatives and continuous framework evolution.
• Drive system reliability and performance via profiling and fleet upgrades.
• Lead the Developer Experience pillar to build agentic foundations and automated incident workflows.
• Partner with product leadership to build high-leverage vertical infrastructure solutions.
• Guide design and rollout of platform changes including APIs, serving abstractions, release controls, and observability.
• Establish a high bar for quality and operational excellence through reviews and incident learnings.
• Mentor senior engineers and technical leaders to grow judgment and influence.
• Use AI to accelerate analysis, debugging, and documentation with governance.
