Job summary

Patreon is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and grow a team of ICs, owning hiring, performance, and career development for your org. You will drive architectural direction, mentoring, and people development within a consumer-focused platform.

You will also own operational excellence: observability standards, on-call structure, incident response, SLAs/SLOs, and Production Readiness Reviews, while partnering with Product Engineering, Security, and Data to avoid bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience with 5+ years in engineering management.
• Direct experience leading infrastructure/platform teams supporting a consumer product at scale.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tooling.
