Job summary

Milliman is seeking a Technical Product Manager with a platform engineering focus to join our MedInsight team. This role will shape the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of shared platform capabilities that enable product and engineering teams to build, ship, and operate MedInsight solutions more efficiently, reliably, and securely.

You will collaborate with Product Strategy, Platform Engineering, Data/Applications Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Operations to strengthen platform

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management, Technical Product Management, Platform Product Management, or similar relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, healthcare, or other relevant subjects
• Familiarity with analytics technologies (Databricks, SQL, R, Python)
• Understanding of cloud technologies and cloud-native architectures, with Azure experience preferred
• Experience with platform engineering, internal developer platforms, APIs, CI/CD, DevOps, observability, reliability, security, or other shared capabilities
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements and roadmaps
• Strong product judgment balancing scalability, developer experience, compliance, reliability, and delivery
• Knowledge of modern IaC platforms like Pulumi and Terraform

Responsibilities

• Serves as SME for shared platform capabilities across MedInsight ecosystem
• Defines and manages cloud-native platform capabilities throughout the product lifecycle
• Partners with platform engineering to define requirements for internal developer platforms and tooling
• Translates user needs into platform opportunities and prioritizes work for velocity and reliability
• Defines adoption, performance, reliability, and developer experience metrics
• Gathers customer requirements and represents internal user voices
• Coordinates cross-functional stakeholders to align on key initiatives
• Creates and maintains product roadmaps with Strategy and Leadership teams
• Prioritizes core platform requirements for clear understanding by business owners
