Job summary

Arbor Education is seeking a Platform Operations Director to join our Engineering team and own the operational backbone of Arbor's SaaS platform. You will unite SRE, Security Engineering and TechOps under one accountable leadership to deliver reliability and security across products and markets.

Lead with a data‑driven, collaborative approach, shaping incident management, vulnerability governance, and FinOps, while guiding AI-enabled enhancements to operations and executive reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven senior leadership of SRE/DevSecOps at scale.
• Deep understanding of SLIs, SLOs and error budgets.
• Experience in incident management and post-incident reviews.
• Security posture ownership including vulnerability management.
• Ability to drive AI integration into ops workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own availability across the application suite and define SLOs.
• Lead SRE pillar with observability, capacity planning and toil reduction.
• Make reliability visible to product, leadership and exec.
• Drive remediation of root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Define vulnerability management framework and remediation SLAs.
• Build reporting dashboards for vulnerability burn-down.
• Transform TechOps to align with the SRE operating model.
• Stand up FinOps to optimize cloud value.
