Job summary

Arbor Education is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering team and help improve the resilience and performance of the Arbor platform, enabling the business to rapidly scale.

The role requires an obsessive, metrics-driven approach with collaboration across solution architecture and engineering teams. You’ll drive improvements to architecture, infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and incident response while documenting processes to enable knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Experience in DevOps engineering for large-scale platforms.
• Proficiency with AWS cloud services and distributed systems.
• Strong automation using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and incident response processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify platform infrastructure improvements and implement plans.
• Improve maturity of platform components ensuring High Availability and DR readiness.
• Contribute to CI/CD patterns and deployment practices.
• Assist in incident response, post-mortems, and retrospectives.
• Document systems and Playbooks for knowledge transfer.
• Operate a large-scale, distributed cloud platform.
