Job summary

HASI is modernizing its data and analytics foundation and seeks a Platform Engineering Lead to own the enterprise data platform, roadmaps, and automation across cloud, data, and security domains.

You will drive platform reliability, observability, and cost optimization while mentoring engineers and partnering with Data, BI, Security, and Enterprise Architecture teams to deliver scalable, secure capabilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in platform engineering, data engineering, cloud infrastructure, or related field.
• Experience owning enterprise platform architecture and multi-year roadmaps.
• Strong coding basics and ability to build tooling and automation.

Responsibilities

• Own platform architecture and multi-year roadmaps for enterprise data platform.
• Establish modern platform engineering practices including CI/CD and automation.
• Engineer production-ready platforms with observability and incident management.
• Ensure secure configuration, IAM, data protection, and auditability.
• Drive cost optimization and scalable performance across platforms.
• Design reusable integration patterns for data and applications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers across teams.
• Stay current with cloud/data tech and vendor decisions.
