Job summary

Sandisk seeks a Senior Staff Engineer, Enterprise Data Platform to lead design, implementation, and modernization of a scalable, governed data platform across cloud and on‑prem environments. You will own architecture, data governance, and end‑to‑end pipelines, guiding analytics and AI‑driven solutions with a strong emphasis on security and compliance.

You will collaborate with architects, data stewards, and analytics teams to deliver resilient data products and enable enterprise‑wide insights

Qualifications

• 9+ years of hands-on data architecture, engineering, and analytics delivery.
• Proven success building modern data platforms on cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep knowledge of Data lakehouse architectures (Databricks, Fabric).
• Proficiency with Python, SQL, Spark, and orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong data modeling and API integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve target data architecture across governance, engineering, and lakehouse layers.
• Translate business goals into scalable platform designs and roadmaps.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, ensuring alignment with standards and SOX controls.
• Build and maintain Databricks Lakehouse platforms and modern ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Ingest data from ERP, CRM, IoT, and third‑party APIs; ensure data quality.
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed CI/CD and automate the data lifecycle.
• Mentor staff and improve reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
