Job summary

Hastings Insurance seeks a Data Engineering Manager to lead the engineering, integration, and architecture of our enterprise data ecosystem. You will oversee data pipelines, warehousing, and platform operations to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable data across the organization.

You will partner with Business Intelligence and IT teams while driving modernization and governing practices for data quality and access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in data engineering, data platforms, warehousing, or integration.
• Experience leading or mentoring data engineering teams.
• Strong ETL/ELT design and data integration experience.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, modeling, and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for enterprise data engineering, warehousing, and platform operations.
• Provide technical direction for design, development, deployment, and support of data pipelines.
• Guide modernization of the enterprise data environment for scalability and reliability.
• Ensure reliable data ingestion, transformation, and delivery across systems.
• Promote data quality, governance, lineage, and security practices.
