Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a hands‑on, senior engineering leader to guide Health100's platform and integration strategy. You will drive the roadmap across multiple teams, align architecture and delivery with business outcomes, and advance platform modernization in a healthcare‑tech context.

You will lead and mentor managers and engineers, collaborate with Product, Security, Architecture and external partners, and steer AI‑enabled solutions that deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience in large‑scale distributed platforms and 5+ years leading managers/senior engineers
• Proven delivery of multi‑team programs, architecture modernization, and cloud migrations in healthcare/digital tech
• Strong depth in distributed systems and cloud‑native architectures (Java/Spring Boot, Python)
• Executive communication and influence, with success building high‑performing, distributed engineering organizations
• Experience delivering AI-enabled or generative AI–integrated software with measurable outcomes

Responsibilities

• Define and own multi‑team product/technical roadmaps aligning with business outcomes
• Establish engineering standards, governance, and risk management for high quality delivery
• Lead engineering managers and senior engineers; oversee hiring, performance, and career growth
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Security, and external partners to translate strategy into executable programs
• Navigate complex technical initiatives across domains; manage dependencies and external commitments
• Oversee vendor/contingent workforce strategies and technology research across AI, cloud, and distributed systems
