Job summary

ConstructConnect is seeking a Platform Engineer II to build and operate the core platform used by our engineering teams. You’ll deliver secure CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and developer tooling to accelerate product delivery with reduced risk.

You’ll own complex projects end-to-end, collaborate across teams, and help evolve an Internal Developer Platform with observability and self-service capabilities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in infra/cloud/DevOps/platform roles.
• Hands-on CI/CD tooling experience, GitLab preferred.
• Strong IaC experience with Terraform and module usage.
• Experience with artifact management (Cloudsmith or similar).
• Solid understanding of GCP fundamentals (IAM, networking).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Scripting skills (Bash/Python) for automation.
• Ability to debug complex issues across CI/CD, Terraform, IAM, and GCP.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and GitLab infrastructure.
• Deliver cloud infrastructure via Terraform and modules.
• Embed security and compliance into the platform.
• Drive AI-powered platform automation and docs.
• Manage artifact and container image workflows.
• Provide Tier-2/3 platform engineering support.
• Onboard product teams with GitLab, Terraform, and GCP.
• Contribute to platform observability and runbooks.
