Job summary

Tier4 Group is seeking a CI/CD Platform Engineer to build and maintain a scalable software delivery platform. You will work with a team supporting cloud infrastructure and developer platforms to enable engineers to build, test, and deploy more efficiently.

The ideal candidate has strong cloud/DevOps fundamentals, a passion for automation, and excellent communication skills. Expect collaboration across teams, on-call rotations, and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong CI/CD principles and software delivery best practices.
• Experience building and managing software artifacts, containers, packages, and repositories.
• Familiarity with software supply chain security concepts, SBOMs and secure build practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and support CI/CD platform services with a platform engineering team.
• Design and implement automation to improve software delivery processes.
• Create and maintain platform health metrics, dashboards, and monitoring solutions.
• Support deployments across cloud environments and practice security/compliance.
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to adopt platform tools and capabilities.
• Contribute to code reviews, design reviews, and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, performance, and developer productivity.
