Job summary

SitusAMC is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design and implement scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines. You will automate deployments, drive security-first architecture, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud solutions with business goals.

The ideal candidate has extensive IaC experience, strong scripting skills, and hands-on Kubernetes with Istio/Linkerd.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6+ years of industry experience with 1+ year in a Senior Associate role or external equivalent.
• 8+ years developing Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar).
• 6+ years building CI/CD pipelines with GitOps and automation tools (FluxCD, ArgoCD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on Kubernetes with Istio/Linkerd and Karpenter for autoscaling.
• Strong scripting/programming background (Python, Shell).
• AWS services including EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, and network security.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable, cost-effective AWS environments using Terraform and IaC practices.
• Develop enterprise-grade AWS solutions with a security-first mindset for resilience and performance.
• Drive release automation with CI/CD pipelines (GitOps) supporting serverless and stateful apps.
• Automate patching, upgrades, and upkeep of IaC and pipelines to keep infra healthy and compliant.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to align infrastructure with business needs.
• Lead automation of AWS infrastructure to reduce manual intervention and errors.
• Contribute to evolving cloud strategy with new ideas and improvements.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
