Job summary

Raft is seeking a Senior Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable platform infrastructure across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. You will lead automation of software delivery, infrastructure provisioning, and security integration while partnering with software, cybersecurity, and customer stakeholders.

You will design IaC, deploy Kubernetes platforms on AWS and other clouds, and build secure CI/CD pipelines with GitOps workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain IaC for distributed, cloud-native apps.
• Architect and manage Kubernetes platforms across AWS and other clouds.
• Build secure, automated CI/CD pipelines with testing, security scanning, and release management.
• Implement and mature GitOps using Argo CD or Flux.
• Deploy and support platform hosted services for tenant application teams.
• Maintain highly available production-grade Kubernetes clusters with security/compliance.
• Provide multi-tenant access to cloud-native services.
• Develop automation to improve reliability and scalability.
• Configure networking with Calico or Cilium.
• Deploy observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Fluent Bit, Loki, Kibana.
• Collaborate with engineers to embed security in the SDLC.
