Job summary

CTG is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a remote contract role. You will drive cloud infrastructure with AWS and Terraform, own EKS operations, and advance deployment workflows with GitLab CI/CD and GitOps.

You will implement observability, strengthen security, and optimize PostgreSQL/RDS workloads while collaborating with distributed teams. Strong automation, AI-assisted tooling, and independent problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or related roles.
• Strong AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform experience and security concepts.
• CI/CD and GitOps experience with modern tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate cloud infra with AWS and Terraform across services.
• Own EKS and Kubernetes platform operations including upgrades and autoscaling.
• Develop deployment workflows using Helm, Kustomize, GitLab CI/CD, and GitOps.
• Deploy observability across infra and Kubernetes with metrics, logs, and dashboards.
• Improve reliability, security, and runtime efficiency of workloads.
• Lead technical decisions with limited oversight and drive issues to completion.
• Use AI tools to accelerate design, troubleshooting, and documentation.
