Job summary

OIS (Organizational Intelligence System) in Naples, FL is seeking a hands-on Software / Platform Engineer who will own substantial parts of implementation and architecture. You’ll work on infrastructure surrounding AI systems: backend services, APIs and SDKs, persistent state, databases, cloud infrastructure, authority boundaries, execution controls, observability, testing, and production reliability.

You’ll work directly with the founder and engineering team and have meaningful influence over

Qualifications

• Hands-on backend/platform engineering experience.
• Strong API/SDK design and developer-facing infra.
• Experience with PostgreSQL in production.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent).
• Proven ability to build distributed/stateful systems.
• Production debugging, testing and observability skills.
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript/Node.
• System architecture and building from ground up.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, multi-tenant systems, or AI/LLM infra is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own implementation and architecture for core platform components.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and SDKs for developers.
• Ensure reliable production systems with observability and testing.
• Collaborate with founder and engineering team to evolve the platform.
• Design and manage persistent state, databases, and cloud infra.
