Job summary

IMI is seeking an AI Infrastructure & Platform Engineer to design and expand our internal AI capabilities across software development, cloud infrastructure, and systems integration.

You will build and scale an internal AI platform, develop AI-driven workflows, and guide decisions on building versus buying third-party AI solutions, while ensuring security and reliability in production environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, MLOps, DevOps, or a related technical field.
• Strong software development fundamentals; building, deploying, and supporting production apps/services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with CI/CD and multi-environment development, staging, production.
• Experience developing and maintaining APIs and integrations between apps, cloud platforms, data sources, and third-party services.
• Hands-on familiarity with LLMs, generative AI, and production AI/ML systems.
• Understanding of security best practices for applications, infra, and data.
• Strong written and verbal English communication; ability to explain tech to diverse audiences.
• Resourceful, collaborative, and able to work independently in evolving tech environments.
• Ability to champion new technologies and drive AI adoption across the org.
