We’re building infrastructure beneath AI applications - not another AI application.
OIS (Organizational Intelligence System) is a funded AI infrastructure and governance platform designed to make AI-powered software controlled, persistent, auditable, and reliable in production.
The core OIS platform is built and running. We’re now expanding the engineering team as we mature the runtime, build out our developer platform and SDK, and launch additional products on top of OIS.
We’re looking for a hands-on Software / Platform Engineer who wants substantial ownership over both implementation and architecture.
This is not a prompt-engineering position. You’ll work on the infrastructure surrounding and governing AI systems: backend services, APIs and SDKs, persistent state, databases, cloud infrastructure, authority boundaries, execution controls, observability, testing, and production reliability.
You’ll work directly with the founder and engineering team and have meaningful influence over how the platform evolves.
Experience with Kubernetes, multi-tenant systems, security/authorization, AI/LLM infrastructure, developer platforms, or complex workflow systems is particularly relevant.
We care more about what you’ve actually built and how you think than credentials or keyword matching.
You might be a deeply experienced senior engineer, or you might be earlier in your career but already operating well beyond what your years of experience would suggest. We’re deliberately leaving room for both.
We want someone who can reason through ambiguous technical problems, challenge assumptions, debug difficult systems, and take real ownership of production software.
We’re based in Naples, Florida. Our first preference is someone in Southwest Florida who can work with us locally in a hybrid environment, although we will consider exceptional candidates elsewhere in Florida.
This is a fully compensated, full-time position and includes an equity/ownership component. We want the engineers helping build OIS to participate in the value they’re helping create.
Our application is designed to understand what you’ve built, how you approach difficult technical problems, how you use AI in your development workflow, and how you think about engineering decisions.
