Job summary

Inari is seeking a senior engineer to lead the architecture and development of key software systems, platform components, data pipelines, and services within its Data & AI Platform in Cambridge, MA. You will drive authentication patterns, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and reusable deployment frameworks to empower internal teams.

You will enable teams to host internal apps, expose APIs, use shared services, and build on the engineering platform, while guiding design reviews and setting

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software or platform engineering experience.
• 2+ years in technical leadership or leading projects.
• Hands-on experience designing platform or system architectures in data/AI environments.
• Proficiency in Python with cloud and container-based infra experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and development of key software systems, platform components, pipelines, and services.
• Build and mature authentication patterns, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and reusable deployment frameworks.
• Enable teams to host internal applications, run workflows, expose APIs, and use shared services.
• Build and support infrastructure for AI-enabled systems and internal AI platform capabilities.
• Drive cross-team integration across software, data, AI/ML, and scientific computing platforms (AWS, Kubernetes, Airflow, Databricks, SageMaker, Quilt/S3).
• Serve as a senior technical voice setting platform strategy and engineering standards.
