Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, MLOps, DevOps, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with modern software deployment practices, including CI/CD and development, staging, and production environments.
• Experience developing and maintaining APIs and integrations between applications, cloud platforms, data sources, and third-party services.
• Hands-on familiarity with modern AI technologies, LLMs, generative AI, and production AI/ML systems.
• Understanding of application, infrastructure, and data security best practices.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain IMI’s internal AI platform and supporting infrastructure.
• Build and manage secure cloud environments for hosting AI applications, models, agents, and services.
• Develop and productionize AI-powered workflows, automations, and agent-based solutions using LLMs and generative AI technologies.
• Design and maintain integrations between AI applications, internal systems, enterprise data, and third-party platforms using APIs.
• Develop secure connections that allow AI applications and agents to interact with proprietary company data and enterprise systems.
• Establish and maintain development, staging, and production environments for AI applications and services.
• Support CI/CD, monitoring, observability, security, maintenance, and reliability of AI applications and infrastructure.
• Partner with external AI and technology providers while helping transition appropriate knowledge and capabilities in-house.
• Evaluate build-versus-buy decisions and recommend internal, third-party, or hybrid solutions based on business needs, security, scalability, cost, and maintainability.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and integration standards, including MCP and similar technologies.
• Support company-specific AI capabilities using proprietary data, including RAG, model customization, and domain-specific solutions.
• Ensure AI infrastructure and integrations follow appropriate security and data governance practices.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI and automation can improve efficiency.
• Serve as an internal AI advocate, helping employees understand, adopt, and effectively use new AI tools and workflows.
