Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Foundational Platform Deployment Lead based in San Francisco or New York City. You’ll shape new solutions and lead them from customer validation through launch and repeatable adoption, blending product judgment with hands-on deployment experience to identify valuable problems and define a path to scale.

You’ll partner with FDE, Product, and GTM to align the roadmap, resolve dependencies, and balance customer commitments with reusable capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product leadership or customer-facing technical delivery experience.
• Experience taking technical products from discovery through production and adoption.
• Ability to translate customer workflows into clear product priorities.

Responsibilities

• Define clear solutions around valuable problems and shape the path to market.
• Use customer learnings and market evidence to set next proof points and investments.
• Select design partners and run pilots to test value and repeatability.
• Define quality and launch criteria for scalable solutions.
• Enable field teams and partners to scope, sell, and deliver solutions using playbooks.
• Track adoption and establish ongoing ownership as solutions scale.
