Qualifications

8+ years of hands-on cloud data platform experience.
Deep knowledge of Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog.
Experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines for platform deployments.

Responsibilities

Oversee operational health, monitoring, logging, and alerting for the platform (Databricks).
Define roadmap and platform strategy, adopting new features and best practices.
Enforce data security/governance via Unity Catalog and compliant controls.
Optimize performance and reduce cloud costs for Databricks workloads.
Mentor data engineers and platform engineers; drive best practices and reusable patterns.
Collaborate with data/business teams and infrastructure teams for a cohesive platform.
