Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Communications Lead to own external communications for the Claude Platform, our API. You will shape how developers and enterprises understand product launches and capability releases, working with the Platform product and engineering teams, Product Marketing, and Developer Relations.

You'll build relationships with reporters and creators covering AI platforms and enterprise software, prepare leaders to speak effectively, and ensure external narratives align with product

Qualifications

• Experience in communications, PR, or product marketing, including platform, API, developer, or enterprise products.
• Understanding of developer culture and enterprise buying; able to judge timing and tone when AI conversations grow noisy.
• Ability to identify product moments to feature; curiosity about launches and how they land.
• High agency, low ego, bias to action in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Own external communications for the Claude Platform end to end: releases, updates, and developer-facing news.
• Build relationships with journalists, researchers, and creators covering AI platforms and enterprise software.
• Prepare Platform leaders to be effective spokespeople for press, podcasts, panels, and other moments.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to align external narratives with product sales and support; surface customer feedback to teams.
• Coordinate across press, social, owned, and community channels, choosing the right channel for each moment.
