Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Communications Lead to own external communications for the Claude Platform, our API. You will shape how this work is understood beyond Anthropic, from flagship launches to capability releases and developer-facing news.

You will work with the Product Communications team alongside Platform product and engineering, Product Marketing, and Developer Relations to ensure messaging lands with developers and enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in communications, PR, or product marketing with platform/API/enterprise focus.
• Understanding of developer culture and enterprise buying with good timing/tone sense.
• Strong instinct for which product moments deserve spotlight and genuine launch curiosity.
• Ability to act with high agency and low ego, bias to action.

Responsibilities

• Own communications for the Claude Platform end to end: capability releases, product updates, and developer-facing news.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, newsletters, and creators covering AI platforms and API economy.
• Prepare Platform leaders to be effective spokespeople for press, podcasts, and panels.
• Partner with Product/Engineering to align external narratives with product goes-to-market and feedback.
• Work across press, social, owned, and community channels and coordinate as needed.
