Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Platform Customer Engineer to partner with technical Sales and act as the customer’s technical advisor. You will lead technical conversations, troubleshoot roadblocks, and showcase Google Cloud through proofs-of-concepts, demos, and workshops.

You will drive technical wins with cross-pillar solutions and define delivery plans for customers. You will engage with technical and business leaders, blending sales acumen with deep architecture knowledge to deliver meaningful

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of cloud native architecture experience in a customer-facing or support role.
Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
Experience engaging with technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
Experience in programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, demos, or customer workshops.

Responsibilities

Develop and own the technical account plan and strategy, supporting targeted sales motions.
Demonstrate value across the portfolio through complex demos, pilots and in-depth workshops.
Architect cross-pillar solutions and define initial delivery plans for customers.
Facilitate post-sales transitions by supporting pricing activities and implementation handoffs.
Maintain progress against delivery plans and support cross-functional teams during ramp and migration.
