Job summary

Google is seeking a Platform Customer Engineer to partner with technical Sales teams and differentiate Google Cloud for customers. You will act as the customer’s primary technical partner, leading technical conversations, demos, proofs of concept, and cross-pillar cloud solution architecture.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
Experience engaging with, or presenting to, technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
Experience in programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, demos, or customer workshops.

Responsibilities

Develop and own the technical account plan and strategy, supporting targeted sales motions.
Combine sales, programming, and solutions architecture to prove the value of Google Cloud across the portfolio.
Architect cross-pillar solutions, drive technical wins, and define initial delivery plans for customers.
Facilitate post-sales transition by supporting pricing activities and transitioning delivery plans to implementation teams.
Maintain progress awareness against the delivery plan and support cross-functional teams through ramp, delivery, migration or implementation.
