Job summary

Southside Market & Barbeque in Hutto, TX is hiring for a part-time position in the restaurant and food service area. You will communicate with the line, prepare and package sandwiches, and maintain prep area cleanliness.

Prior restaurant experience and a Food Handler Certificate are required, with English fluency mandatory for all duties. The role involves standing, walking, lifting up to 40 pounds, and working in a moderate to loud environment.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Certificate (Required prior to day 1)
• Previous restaurant experience required. For example fast food team member, restaurant kitchen or expo experience.
• Ability to read and speak fluently in English for all job related circumstances.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• While performing the duties of this job, he/she is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. He/she is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. He/she must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud
