Job summary

Southside Market & Barbeque in Leander, TX is seeking a Part-time team member for its fast-paced restaurant. You will support line operations, assemble sandwiches and sides, plate items and keep prep areas clean and organized.

Qualifications include a Food Handler Certificate and prior restaurant experience. Strong English language skills are required, and you should be able to lift up to 40 pounds as needed. Competitive part-time benefits apply.

Qualifications: Education and/or Experience

• Food Handler Certificate (Required prior to day 1)
• Previous restaurant experience required. For example fast food team member, restaurant kitchen or expo experience.
• Ability to read and speak fluently in English for all job related circumstances.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• While performing the duties of this job, he/she is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. He/she is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. He/she must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud
