Job summary

Southside Market & Bbq in Bastrop, TX is seeking a Part-Time Dishwasher to support dining service operations. You will sort, rinse, and stock dishware, assist in maintaining a clean and organized dish-washing area, and help with general kitchen duties as needed.

Qualifications include a valid Food Handler Certificate and fluent English. Candidates should be able to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a moderate to loud environment. We offer flexible part-time schedules and benefits as listed.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Certificate required prior to day 1.
• Ability to listen, read, write and speak fluently in English for all job related circumstances.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Practical problem solving skills.
• While performing the duties of this job, he/she is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. He/she is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. He/she must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine.
• Sort and stack clean dishes.
• Carry clean dishes to service line and other proper storage areas.
• Wash pots, pans and trays by hand
• Remove trash and garbage to dumpster
• Set up or break down dishwashing area
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish-washing station
• Completeother duties as assigned
