Job summary

Southside Market & Bbq in Bastrop, TX is seeking a friendly, part-time team member for our dining room and guest service areas. You will assist with seating, bussing, cleaning, stocking, and ensuring a welcoming Texan hospitality experience.

Required are a Food Handler Certificate before day 1 and fluency in English for all job-related tasks. The job entails standing, lifting up to 40 lbs, and flexible hours with meal discounts and opportunity for growth.

Responsibilities

• Pre-bussing - Clear plates as needed from guests who are finished eating
• Clean, sweep and reset tables efficiently

• Check all condiment products on tables, refill as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining room, bathrooms, entry way and parking lot
• Stock all items in the dining room, soda station, BBQ station and storage room

QualificationsEducation and/or Experience

Ability to listen, read, write and speak fluently in English for all job related circumstances.

While performing the duties of this job, he/she is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. He/she is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. He/she must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
