The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree and 2–3 years of plastics sales or process experience, and is prepared for up to 50% travel within the Midwest region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (ABET accredited) preferred; 2–3 years plastics sales or process engineering experience.
• Associate degree (A.A.S.) in Engineering Technology or equivalent with 3 years plastics sales/engineer experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to requests for technical, price, delivery, and service information.
• Advise on the application of plastics vision inspection products.
• Develop and implement a sales strategy with the Sales Manager.
• Identify and penetrate OEMs and plastics processors and coordinate with the Sales Manager.
• Identify market requirements and consult on special solutions with Sales Manager/Experts.
• Maintain knowledge of new and existing products and applications.
• Assist in preparing special project proposals as required.
• Coordinate commitments with internal departments.
