Job summary

Kistler Group in Novi, Michigan, is seeking a Sales and Application Engineer for Plastics to drive growth in the Midwest. You will respond to technical and price requests, advise on plastics vision inspection applications, and develop sales strategies with the Sales Manager to penetrate OEMs and plastics processors.

The role requires up to 50% travel, strong communication skills, and a background in plastics sales or process engineering.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering with process knowledge in plastics.
• Experience in plastics sales or process engineering preferred.
• Strong communication and travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Respond to requests for technical, price, delivery, and service info.
• Advise on applications of plastics vision inspection products.
• Develop and implement a sales strategy with the Sales Manager.
• Identify OEM and plastics processing targets and coordinate with Sales Manager.
• Identify market requirements and consult on special solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of products and applications.
• Assist in preparing project proposals.
• Coordinate commitments with internal departments.
