Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 2-3 years plastics sales or process engineering experience
• Associate degree (A.A.S.) in Engineering Technology with 3 years plastics sales or process technician experience
• Experience applying pressure sensors, electronics and software to plastics processes
• Knowledge of plastics processing equipment controls to optimize process
• Strong written and verbal communication; proficient with Microsoft Office; willingness to travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

• Respond to technical, price, delivery, and service inquiries
• Advise on applications of plastics vision inspection products
• Develop and implement a Midwest sales strategy with the Sales Manager
• Identify OEM and plastics processing customers and coordinate with the Sales Manager
• Highlight market requirements and collaborate on special solutions
• Maintain product knowledge and assist in preparing project proposals
• Coordinate commitments with internal departments
