Job summary

Piedmont Plastics is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for the Phoenix market. The role focuses on promoting and selling plastics products and services in person to diverse business and industrial customers within the Phoenix area.

You will develop new accounts, support existing ones, and travel as needed to expand the customer base, while maintaining strong product knowledge and relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of outside sales experience in plastics, industrial distribution or graphics-related sales with a track record of exceeding assigned sales goals.
• A personal vehicle in good condition.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness and desire to travel almost exclusively with some overnight travel.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop new accounts through prospecting, networking, cold calling and referrals.
• Provide sales support to existing accounts, close daily opportunities, and expand the customer base.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with new and existing accounts.
• Communicate daily with sales team/management on orders and customer concerns.
• Maintain and enhance product and technical knowledge in the plastics industry.
• Follow-up on leads and application opportunities.
• Contribute to the team effort.
