Job summary

Piedmont Plastics, Inc. in the Atlanta metro area is seeking a proactive Inside Sales Representative to grow our performance plastics business. You will develop new accounts, support existing customers, and expand market share through proactive outreach and referrals.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of sales success, a college degree (preferred but not required), and a collaborative mindset. Piedmont offers competitive wages, commissions, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of sales experience with a track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
• College degree preferred but not required.
• Combination of education and sales experience considered.
• Inside sales experience in plastics, industrial or distribution sales is a plus.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop new accounts through proactive outcalls, prospecting, networking, and referrals.
• Provide sales support to existing accounts and obtain new orders to grow market share.
• Expand the customer base.
• Maintain and enhance product knowledge, applications, and technical expertise in performance plastics.
• Follow-up on leads from various sources.
• Contribute to the team effort of the branch.
