Job summary

Piedmont Plastics is hiring an Outside Sales Representative for the Phoenix market. This role will promote and sell performance plastics to a variety of business and industrial establishments, primarily in-person within the Phoenix area.

You will develop new accounts through prospecting, networking, and referrals, provide sales support to existing accounts, and cultivate strong customer relationships while maintaining up-to-date product knowledge. Some travel and overnight stays are required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of outside sales experience in plastics or related field.
• Own a personal vehicle in good condition.
• Willing to travel with some overnight trips.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new accounts via prospecting, networking, cold calling and referrals.
• Provide sales support to existing accounts and close daily opportunities.
• Grow the customer base by expanding relationships with new and existing accounts.
• Communicate daily with the sales team on orders and customer concerns.
• Maintain and enhance product knowledge in the plastics industry.
• Follow-up on leads and application opportunities.
• Contribute to the team effort.
