Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Plasma Collection Technician to perform plasmapheresis and venipuncture procedures on donors. The role requires strict adherence to FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP standards to maintain safety and quality.

Responsibilities include ensuring donor safety, accurate labeling, equipment setup, and maintenance. The candidate should deliver excellent donor service and accurately document all procedures in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three (3) months’ experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
• Completed documentation of training prior to performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Execute plasmapheresis and venipuncture procedures.
• Ensure compliance with FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP for quality and safety.
• Maintain donor experience and facility cleanliness; manage inventory.
• Monitor donor conditions, protect confidentiality, and document procedures.
• Calibrate and maintain plasmapheresis equipment; respond to alarms and troubleshoot.
