Octapharma Plasma, Inc. in Plano, TX is seeking a Plasma Donor Center Technician to perform plasmapheresis and venipunctures, while ensuring donor safety and a positive experience.

You will set up equipment, document procedures, and maintain machine logs in a fast-paced setting, adhering to FDA, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP standards. This role requires strong teamwork and precise documentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Three months’ experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
• Completed training appropriate for duties prior to performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations to maintain production standards.
• Maintain donor safety and provide a positive donor experience.
• Stock and replenish supplies; keep the work area clean and professional.
• Review donor identification and maintain donor confidentiality per SOPs.
• Set up and prepare all equipment for venipuncture and plasmapheresis; label units.
• Execute venipunctures and plasma collection with high quality and safety.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines; respond to alarms and document exceptions.
• Monitor donor conditions and ensure comfort, safety, and product quality.
• Maintain accurate machine logs and contribute to management reports.
• Perform calibration and maintenance of machines; replace equipment as needed.
• Drive training efficiencies and perform daily/monthly QC on equipment.
• Triage other duties as assigned.
