Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a plasmapheresis technician to perform venipuncture and plasma collection, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and company SOPs. The role emphasizes high-quality donor experiences and strict safety standards.

You will monitor donor safety, operate automated plasmapheresis machines, maintain logs, and support calibration and routine maintenance to ensure consistent product quality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3 months' experience in medical/healthcare environment preferred.
• Completion of training documentation before performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and plasmapheresis with emphasis on donor safety and product quality.
• Comply with FDA/OSHA/CLIA/GMP SOPs to maintain high production and facility standards.
• Maintain donor confidentiality and ensure accurate donor identification.
• Set up equipment and dispose of biohazard waste per safety protocols.
• Operate automated plasmapheresis machines and respond to alarms and QC steps.
• Maintain logs and documentation for machine usage and donor procedures.
• Provide excellent donor service and maintain a clean, professional work environment.
• Calibrate and maintain plasmapheresis machines as required.
