Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 3 months’ experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
• Training completed prior to performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP).
• Maintain high donor service standards and positive donor experience.
• Stock and replenish supplies; keep a clean, professional work area.
• Review donor identification and protect confidentiality per SOPs.
• Set up equipment and materials for venipuncture and plasmapheresis; label units/samples.
• Perform venipunctures and plasmapheresis with quality and safety.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines; respond to alarms; document exceptions.
• Monitor donor safety and plasma quality; ensure donor safety ratios.
• Calibrate/maintain plasmapheresis machines; remove or replace equipment as needed.
• Maintain logs and report unsafe situations; drive training efficiencies.
• Troubleshoot alarms/alerts and perform routine QC; perform other duties as assigned.
