Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. in Valdosta, GA is seeking a dedicated team member to execute the plasmapheresis process and perform venipunctures, ensuring donor safety and compliance with SOPs.

You will operate automated plasmapheresis machines, monitor donor conditions, document machine activity, and maintain accurate logs while delivering excellent donor service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 3 months’ medical/healthcare experience preferred.
• Documentation of training completed before performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with SOPs and regulations.
• Maintain excellent donor service and donor experience.
• Stock and replenish supplies; keep a clean work area.
• Verify donor identification and confidentiality per SOPs.
• Set up equipment and label samples for venipuncture/plasmapheresis.
• Perform venipuncture and plasma collection following safety standards.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines and respond to alarms and donor events.
• Monitor donor safety and plasma product quality.
• Maintain donor safety ratios and proper disposal of biohazard waste.
• Calibrate and maintain machines; replace equipment as needed.
• Maintain machine logs and report unsafe conditions.
• Drive training efficiencies and improve processes.
• Troubleshoot alarms and perform daily/monthly QC.
